Sausage Egg Casserole
For 8-10 servings you will need:
Spray bottom and sides of 9" X 13" baking dish. In large skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink.
In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard and pepper.
Distribute half the bread evenly in the 9" x 13" baking dish. Sprinkle with half the cheese, half the sausage and half of mushrooms, tomatoes and green onions. Repeat layering using remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole. Cover and refrigerate up to 12 hours.
Day of serving:
Heat oven to 350°. Bake uncovered about one hour until eggs are set. Tent with foil if top begins to brown too quickly.
